Light of Hope Missions has been on the fore front on eradication of jiggers. It has been a burden in our hearts that in this 21st century we still have families infested with Jiggers. The pain they go through has been our motivation to help them get through it and Live a normal life like the rest of us. We have been able to reach out to more that 2000 people and treat them jiggers and now they live a happy life. On our mission to eradicate jiggers, after treatment we spray their houses to prevent further infestation. We also teach them on Hygiene so they can prevent spreading of jiggers.
Jiggers can cause discomfort and to some people they even cause anaemia due to suckling of blood. They also cause hardening of the skin be it the feet or palms and this an be so embarrassing to someone when in public. Through this program we have helped restore dignity to many and that brings joy and satisfaction to us. You can be a blessing to this ministry by being a volunteer, donating drugs, gloves, sergical blades, needles and gauge rolls.
