New updates on lives being lifted up in Kitale, Kenya, through our friends Samuel and Ann of Light of Hope Missions. You’ll recall that last month they helped a community rid themselves of jiggers that infested their hands and feet. Zebulon is one boy in particular. Two weeks ago, Sam and Ann took your donations and put Zebulon back in school by paying his school fees, getting him his uniforms and books and paying for his meals for the semester. They also helped another boy, Jacob Kamau, at the headmaster’s request, to replace his torn and worn out uniform. Now both boys are back with their classmates.
Yesterday light of hope missions began to distribute sanitary napkins that are necessary to keep girls from missing so many days of school each month. A donor saw their Facebook post and offered 400 sanitary napkins for them to distribute to the girls in this area.
Anyone interested in helping light of hope missions continue to build on this and other important work can follow them on Facebook or their website. They have huge hearts for God and to be in His service to the people in their area.
Small donations go a mighty long way, as you’ll notice from their posts. Erik, Chicago
